Rules & Regulations

1. Promotion Period

The Charlie’s Gen7 Back-to-School Receipt Draw (the “Promotion”) begins on September 4th, 2026, and ends on October 30th, 2026.

 

Weekly draws will take place throughout the Promotion Period, with one (1) winner selected each week.

 

2. Eligibility

The Promotion is open to individuals who are 18 years of age at the time of entry and who are residents of British Columbia.

 

Employees of Gen7, Charlie’s Gen7, their affiliated companies, advertising agencies, promotional partners, and their immediate family members or members of the same household are not eligible to enter.

 

3. How to Enter

To receive an entry through qualifying purchases:

• Spend $20 or more on fuel in a single transaction at Charlie’s Gen7 during the Promotion Period

• Any fuel grade qualifies

• Retain the final copy of your fuel receipt (pre-auth receipts do not qualify) and drop it in the designated contest ballot box located inside Charlie’s Gen7

• Each qualifying receipt constitutes one (1) entry into the weekly draw

 

For further clarity, a customer who purchases $40, $60, or more fuel in a single transaction does not receive multiple entries Each qualifying transaction provides a maximum of one (1) entry.

 

4. No Purchase Necessary Form of Entry

To enter without making a purchase, eligible participants may submit a handwritten entry containing their full name, telephone number, email address, and mailing address, along with a handwritten statement of at least 50 words explaining why you would like to win a Gen7 gift card. These need to be taken a put into the ballot box inside of Charlie’s Gen7.

 

5. Prize

There will be one (1) $50 Gen7 gift card awarded to the selected winner each week during the Promotional Period.

The approximate retail value of each prize is $50 CAD.

 

Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or substituted, except at the sole discretion of Gen7.

 

6. Draws

A random draw will be conducted each week from all eligible entries received during the applicable weekly entry period.

 

The weekly draw will take place at Charlie’s Gen7 on Friday at approximately 11:00am local time.

 

The odds of being selected depend on the number of eligible entries received during the applicable draw period.

 

7. Winner Notification

The selected entrant will have 3 days from the first attempted notification to claim the prize. If the selected entrant cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the required time, or does not correctly answer the skill-testing question, another eligible entry may be randomly selected.

 

8. Entry Requirements

All entries must be complete, legible, and received by the applicable deadline.

 

Entrants that are lost, late, illegible, damaged, incomplete, or otherwise invalid will be disqualified. Gen7 is not responsible for lost, delayed, damaged, or misdirected entries.

 

Receipts must be from a qualifying fuel purchase made at Charlie’s Gen7 during the Promotional Period. Receipts may only be submitted once.

 

9. Limit of Entries

There is a limit of one (1) entry per qualifying transaction.

 

There is no limit to the number of qualifying transactions an eligible participant may make during the Promotion Period, provided each transaction independently meets the $20 minimum qualifying fuel purchase.

 

10. Verification

All entries and receipts are subject to verification by Gen7. Gen7 reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Official Rules or that is suspected of being fraudulent, tampered with, reproduced, or otherwise improperly obtained.

 

11. General Conditions

By participating in the Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Gen7, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Promotion.

 

By entering, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information for the purposes of administering the Promotion, contacting the winner, and fulfilling the prize.

 

12. Winner Publicity

By accepting the prize, the winner agree that Gen7 may use their name, photograph, and/or likeness for promotional purposes relating to the Promotion and Gen7, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
