At Gen7 Fuel, we are thrilled to announce the much-anticipated opening of Gen7 Fuel Couchiching, on February 9th, 2024. Nestled conveniently off Highway 11 in Fort Frances, this new and modern gas station is strategically located on Couchiching First Nation, embodying our commitment to convenience for everyone in and around the community.

Gen7 Fuel sponsored Sunday’s game against the Kingston Frontenac in support of Indigenous Heritage at the Tribute Communities Centre in Oshawa.

The Soo Greyhounds Hockey Club is proud to announce their Indigenous Heritage Night, presented by Gen7 Fuel, which will take place on Saturday September 30th, 2023, when they host the Brantford Bulldogs at the GFL Memorial Gardens (7:07pm game time).

We wear orange to honour the Survivors of residential schools, and those who never returned home. The acknowledgement of truth, is vital to walking the path to reconciliation.

Abby Mcleod is both part-owner of Gen7 Fuel Jocko Point and our Community Relations Manager. She is the first of the next generation of owners at Gen7 Fuel, working to carry on the legacy of her father, Mat McLeod. Abby is integral to facilitating Gen7 Fuel’s community initiatives, spearheading our mission to a better future for the next seven generations.

The fearless Indigenous leader at Smokeys Gen7 Fuel is the legendary Donna Adams. Donna is a passionate businesswoman who creates immense success not only for herself, but those who work for her. Now, in her mid-seventies, Donna works tirelessly to support the next generation of entrepreneurs.

It is no coincidence that National Indigenous Heritage Day falls on June 21st, the day of the Summer Solstice. To the First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples in Canada, this day marks the annual spiritual awakening; a new season of life.

Gen7 Fuel announces plans for expansion this Indigenous Heritage Month. The Indigenous gas station chain is projected to open several new stations across Northern Ontario by the end of this year, with aggressive expansion plans across Canada in the upcoming year.

Since 2010, May 5th has been regarded as National Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Children, and Two-Spirit People Awareness Day – also known as Red Shirt Day. On May 5th, we wear red to honour the thousands of First Nations women, girls, and two-spirit people who we’ve lost to senseless violence in Canada.

To honour National MMIWG2S Awareness Day on May 5, Gen7 Fuel service locations will be offering commemorative T-shirts to show your solidarity with Indigenous women across Canada. Each T-shirt costs $20 and 100% of the proceeds will be donated directly to Indigenous women and family shelters across Ontario.

The Gen7 Fuel Jocko Point Gas Station and Convenience Store located in North Bay has been making an enormous impact on its local First Nations community with over $215,000 donated to various charities and events.

At Gen7 Fuel, women not only form the nucleus of the management, they live by those traditional values and feel obligated to provide for current and future generations. Working as a tight knit team, women behind Gen7 have grown the company from just one gas station to the current seven outlets with convenience stores by partnering with entrepreneurs from First Nation communities.

The Gen7 Fuel outlet serving Walpole Island First Nation has given back more than $8,200 to the community in two donations.

With every purchase at a Gen7 Fuel location, a portion of the sale goes directly back into the community, making us all dedicated to creating a brighter future, together.

Gen7 Fuel backed up their statements and have gifted McMaster University the amount of seventy-five thousand dollars to establish the Gen7 Indigenous Scholarship.
